Answer: All of them

The currency unit is the dong (VND), symbol d. Banknotes in circulation are in denominations of 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10,000, 20,000, 50,000, 100,000, 200,000, and 500,000d. Polymer banknotes were introduced in 2003, and the only paper notes now accepted are 1000, 2000, and 5,000d.

Coins range from 200d to 5,000d.

See the State Bank of Vietnam's information on money in circulation.

Always be ready to use cash, in Vietnamese dong or U.S. dollars. Have small denominations of dollars; change will always be in dong.

Changing money
Money can be exchanged at banks, hotels, and money changers. Banks give the best exchange rates and Vietcombank branches are located throughout the country. Automated teller machines (ATMs) may also offer good rates but may have limits on maximum amounts and transactions per day.

U.S. dollars are the preferred foreign currency and the easiest to exchange. In theory it is also possible to exchange any major currency. Identity papers are required.

Do not change money on the black market. It is illegal and offers less than favorable rates.
